Urban Stripes

As a student, my money has been going down down and down recently, and it gets tough towards the end of the semester's before you get your next loan! My savings have recently been cleared out too with the deposit on our new student house for next year, so I'm feeling a bit skint until January.

I really can't believe students/their parents are expected to pay hundreds of pounds in advance for student housing so much in advance, it's really bizarre. I really don't have that kind of money lying about to pay for a house your not even living in until next summer! If you literally had nothing, you would be homeless. In my opinion student finance really need to consider this when giving loans.. Sorry, rant over!

Anyway, bearing in mind that I'm skint, I feel the need to buy clothes more now then ever, and I'm not sure why! When I went into town on friday I was convinced I was not going to buy any more clothing, until I stupidly walked into Urban Outfitters again and hit the sale section, where they had 50% off all they're sale items. I couldn't believe it, and really wanted to grab something that was worth ALOT more then I would be paying! This blouse caught my eye a week or so ago, and so I tried it on. I really liked the simplicity of the stripes, and knew that the monochrome meant it would go with alot of my clothing I own already. It would also be really good to dress up, or down. I really liked the look of it done all the way up too, I know this is a look that's been in for a while, but I don't really own any like it, and thought it would be a great addition to my wardrobe. It was reduced to £20, and with the 50% off, it was £10, so I really couldn't say no!

I styled it up with wet look leggings for drinks on saturday night, with black heels, for a smart casual outfit. I did the collar all the way up, and had a thin silver pendant necklace on. I wore a black bra as its quite see through, but wasn't so obvious in a dark club! I can't believe it was only a tenner, and I know I can wear it day and night. I have a slight addiction to buying something new everytime I go out, I like to wear a different outfit every time usually, and it just makes you feel so good wearing something you haven't worn before. (Well, to me it does!) Now I need a very serious slap in the face, otherwise I won't have any money to spend on doing nice things over the Christmas holidays. Must... stop... spending!
